Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze about the marketing strategy which have been done by Zainal Songket Company in the effort to increase sale volume. Besides that, it also to evaluate the cause of fluctuate sale volume at Zainal Songket Company in Palembang. The result of this research indicates that during year 2004-2007 sale volume facing fluctuation. In 2004 sale volume increased 38,89%, but in 2005 decreased 20%, in 2006 company again increase their sale volume to 50%, and in the last year that is year 2007 the company increase their sale volume to 16,67%. This situation indicates that sale volume which was achieved by Zainal Songket Company in Palembang in marketing its product is satisfied, where growth of sale volume that achieved per annum relatively stable. Sale realization of Zainal Songket Company in Palembang has reached goals which have been specified from year to year. Where in this case sale volume which has been reached by Zainal Songket bigger than sale volume after calculate of sale forecast. So, it can be said that by marketing mix strategy that run by Zainal Songket Company in Palembang have effective enough in its effort to increase sale volume. To improve their sale volume, so writer suggest that the company must do cooperation with whole seller, it can be done by the company according to the existing market.
