Abstract
This study aims to measure the effect of chicken manure and NPK Mutiara fertilizer on the growth of aloe vera (Aloe vera L). This research was conducted from August to November 2020 at Gunung Ibul West (-3.402507,104.259854) in Prabumulih City, South Sumatera,. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 7 treatments with 3 replications. Each treatment consisted of 3 polybag units, so there were 63 plants. The treatments used in this research are ; control (P 0 ), NPK Mutiara fertilizer 30 grams (P 1 ), NPK Mutiara fertilizer 20 grams (P 2 ), NPK Mutiara fertilizer 10 grams (P 3 ), chicken manure fertilizer 375 grams (P 4 ), chicken manure fertilizer 250 grams (P 5 ), and chicken manure fertilizer 125 grams (P 6 ). The results showed that by giving chicken manure could increase the growth and yield of aloe vera (Aloe vera L.). Treatment of 375 grams/chicken manure are the best treatment of frond length 25,58 cm, frond width 7,01 cm, frond thickness 1,19 cm, plant weight gain 206,67 g, and root volume 27,78 cm 3 .
