Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of foreign exchange reserves, foreign direct investment, and Indonesian bank interest rates on the rupiah exchange rate. The data used is secondary data for the period 2000-2019, which was obtained through the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia and the World Bank. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using the Error Correction Model. The results of this study indicate that foreign exchange reserves and foreign direct investment have a positive and significant relationship to the rupiah exchange rate, while the Indonesian bank interest rate has a negative and insignificant relationship to value rupiah exchange.
