Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus setelah dilakukannya pembelajaran menggunakan PMRI dan LSLC berbantuan video pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.5 SMP Negeri 17 Palembang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berupa 3 butir soal berbentuk uraian, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Setelah dilakukan penelitian diperoleh gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus dengan rincian sebagai berikut: bahwa hampir seluruh siswa memunculkan indikator mengekspresikan gagasan matematika dan tidak lebih dari setengah siswa memunculkan indikator kemampuan mengevaluasi gagasan matematika. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII melalui pembelajaran PMRI dan LSLC pada materi persamaan garis lurus dikategorikan cukup.
