Abstract

This research is a development research type of development studies that aims to create student worksheets based on Realistic Mathematics Education with Cabri 3D to train junior high school students' mathematical connections on curved side building materials that are valid, practical and have a potential effect on the mathematical connections of junior high school students. The subjects in this study were students of class IX SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. This study consisted of two stages, namely preliminary consisting of analysis and design and formative evaluation consisting of self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group and field test. The data collection techniques used were walkthroughs, interviews, questionnaires and tests. Walkthrough data and interview data contain comments and suggestions from validators and students which are used to see the validity of the developed student worksheets. Questionnaire and test data were used to see the practicality and potential effects of the developed student worksheets. All data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the developed student worksheets had valid characteristics based on validator assessments and were practically visible from the Small Group trial results and the potential effect was seen from the results of student tests given after field test using the developed student worksheets. The results of the Small Group trial show that the percentage results from the questionnaire sheet get an average result of 85.67% which means that it is very practical according to the criteria. The test results showed that the students 'mathematical connection skills were categorized as good with an average of 87.88% after using the students' worksheets developed.
