Abstract

This research about performance of PMU Makmur Sejahtera in marketing rubber farmers and its relationship with the income of farmers of Bumi Kencana Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, held in December 2020. This research aims to: (1) Analyzing the institutional performance of PMU Makmur Sejahtera in marketing rubber farmers in The Village of Bumi Kencana District Sungai Lilin Musi Banyuasin Regency, (2) Knowing how much income level of rubber farmers who are members of PMU Makmur Sejahtera in The Village of Bumi Kencana District Sungai Lilin Musi Banyuasin Regency, (3) Knowing the relationship between the institutional performance of PMU Makmur Sejahtera in marketing rubber with the income generated by rubber farmers in the Village Bumi Kencana District Sungai Lilin Musi Banyuasin. The method used in this research is the survey method. Sampling method used is simple random sampling where by using 30 samples of farmers members uppb Makmur Sejahtera. The results of this study showed that the performance of Bokar Makmur Sejahtera Processing and Marketing Unit has medium criteria with an average score of 34.90 and a farmer income level of one hectare is Rp23,311,438 within a year. Rank Spearman test results showed that receive Ho or there is no relationship between the performance of Bokar Processing and Marketing Unit and the income of member farmers because of the value of sig. (2-tailed) greater than 0.05. Keywords: PMU, performance, farmers income.
