Abstract

The research aims to look at the effect of the learning model of the Structural Approach on the results of class XI light vehicle engineering expertise program in chassis maintenance subjects at the South Sumatra State Vocational School Palembang. The population in this study were as many as 66 TKR XI graders. The study consisted of two classes namely the XI TKR 1 class of 34 students as the experimental class and the XI TKR 2 class of 32 students. This study uses the True Experimental Design method with a type of Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The data collection technique is the multiple choice test (posttest) obtained analyzed using the t test with a significant level of 5%. Based on hypothesis testing, get tcount 4.75 and ttable 1.99 or tcount> t table (4.75> 1.99) so Ha is accepted. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Structural Approach learning model on the results of class XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering program in subjects at the Palembang South Sumatra Vocational School.
