Abstract

Pemanfaatan sumberdaya laut yang maksimal dapat dicapai dengan pemilihan lokasi yang sesuai. Perairan Pulau Tangkil merupakan salah satu daerah yang mempunyai sumberdaya laut yang potensial untuk pengembangan budidaya laut khususnya untuk budidaya ikan kerapu dengan karamba jaring apung. Data dan informasi mengenai kelayakan lokasi yang menjadi salah satu aspek penentu berhasil atau tidaknya usaha budidaya laut belum tersedia di perairan ini. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya kajian ilmiah yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian lahan budidaya ikan kerapu dengan karamba jaring apung di Perairan Pulau Tangkil, Lampung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 13-14 November 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis spasial overlay menggunakan teknik skoring dengan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) menggunakan program ArcGIS 10.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian di Perairan Pulau Tangkil, Lampung dengan luas 65,9 Ha, diperoleh daerah dengan kategori “Sangat sesuai (S1)” seluas 55 Ha, kategori “Cukup sesuai” seluas 10,8 Ha dan “Tidak sesuai (S3)” seluas 0,1 Ha untuk lokasi budidaya ikan kerapu dengan karamba jaring apung. The maximum utilization of marine resources can be achieved by selecting an appropriate location. The waters of Tangkil Island are one of the areas that have potential marine resources for the development of marine culture, especially for cultivation of grouper fish using floating net cages. Data and Information regarding the feasibility of location, which is one of the determining aspects of the success or failure of marine cultivation, are not yet available in these waters. Therefore, it is necessary to have a scientific study aimed at analyzing the suitability of grouper cultivation land with floating net cages in the waters of Tangkil Island, Lampung. This research was conducted on November 13-14, 2020. The method used in this study was an overlay spatial analysis using a scoring technique with a geographic information system (GIS) approach using the ArcGIS 10.8 program. This result showed that the research area in the waters of Tangkil Island, Lampung, with an area of 65,9 hectares, obtained an area with the category of "very suitable" (S1) covering an area of 55 hectares, the category of "fairly suitable" (S2) covering an area of 10,8 hectares, and "Not suitable" (S3) an area of 0,1 hectares for the location of grouper fish farming using floating net cages.
