Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio, Firm Growth serta Firm Size yang berdampak terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diukur menggunakan Price to Book Value secara tidak langsung maupun tidak langsung, serta mengethaui bagaimana Return on Asset dapat memediasi Debt to Equity Ratio, Firm size dan Firm growth terhadap Price to Book Value. Perusahaan manufaktur industri dan kimia terdapat 60 perusahaan namun hanya 9 perusahaan yang dijadikan sebagai sample pada perusahaan subsektor kimia yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode pusposive sampling selama periode 2014-2019. Teknik analisis menggunakan path analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Debt to Equity Ratio dan Firm Growth berpengaruh terhadap Return on Asset sedangkan firm size tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return on Asset. Pada variable Return on Asset tidak dapat memediasi Debt to Equity Ratio namun dapat memediasi Firm Growth dan Firm Size terhadap Price to Book Value. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Firm Growth dan Firm Size berpengaruh dan termediasi terhadap Price to Book Value melalui Return on Asset sebagai variable intervening.
