Abstract

Fatigue is a problem that needs attention. All types of formal and informal work will cause fatigue. Fatigue on works will increase the level of work error and reduction in works performance or productivity. Based on preliminary studies conducted on 10 employees at SPBU in North Indralaya District, 8 workers felt the moderate fatigue, and 2 workers felt the light fatigue. The purpose of this study is to know relationship between the fatigue with the factors associated with fatigue to SPBU's workers in North Indralaya District on 2018. This type of research is quantitative research with cross sectional approach. Population of the research was 40 workers with 35 samples of workers (with a different hypothesis formula of two proportion). The instruments and tools used are questionnaires subjective self-rating tests and measurements using scales, microtoise, heat stress meter, sound level meter. Data analysis was done by univariat and bivariate (used chi- t-independent, mann-whitney tests). The frequency of workers who experienced moderate exhaustion was 91.4%, while the results of bivariate tests showed that there was no relationship between the fatigue with the factors associated with fatigue to SPBU's workers in North Indralaya District on 2018. To reduce work fatigue, workers are expected to use the break time as best they can, drink enough mineral water, and consume healthy food regularly.
