Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul mata kuliah gelombang materi gelombang elektromagnetik berbasis STEM untuk mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Sriwijaya yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi. Pada tahap evaluasi, peneliti menggunakan evaluasi Tessmer yang terdiri dari tahap self evaluation, tahap expert review, tahap one-to-one evaluation, tahap small group evaluation, dan tahap field test. Pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan hanya sampai pada tahap small group evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan di program studi pendidikan fisika FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya. Berdasarkan hasil dari tahap expert review sebesar 85,8% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil tanggapan mahasiswa pada tahap one-to-one evaluation mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 87,5% dan tahap small group evaluation sebesar 88% termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul mata kuliah gelombang materi gelombang elektromagnetik berbasis STEM di program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Sriwijaya sangat valid dan sangat praktis.
