Abstract

The purpose of this study is in line with the formulation of the problem, then the purpose of this study is to find out and explain "Implementation of policies in the management of green open space in the area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya Campus, Ogan Ilir Regency". The method and approach used in this research are qualitative, which is used descriptively. The study was conducted in the Household Subdivision of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya Campus. The results of research on who studies using the Policy, issued by the Regency Government in the management of green open space. among others Regional Ogan Ilir Regency Regulation number 08 of 2014 concerning the management of green open space, where the authors focus research on the problems of managing green open spaces. Implementation in the efforts of Green Open Space Management in Sriwijaya University, Indralaya campus, Ogan Ilir Regency can be implemented well if there is support from concerned and consistent stakeholders. Obstacles experienced by the technical implementing parties in the management of green open space, namely regarding the maintenance of the park at the University of Sriwijaya this is : (1) The lack of Human Resources Availability in terms of quantity, (2) Availability of funds and budget, (3) The very lack of operational supporting facilities and infrastructure in the Household Subdivision of Sriwijaya University, (4) Lack of awareness of campus residents to care for and care for the environment. Keywords: Implementation of Green Open Space Management.
