Abstract
Preparation and characterization of graphene from nano carbon has been carried out by using nitric acid oxidizer and ultrasonic reduction. Characterization of graphene from nano carbon was carried out using SEM, XRD, FTIR and UV-VIS spectrophotometers to study morphology, crystallography, functional groups and band gap energy of carbon nano. The nano carbon Oxidation Process was carried out by two methods i.e, hummer modification method and reflux, reduced using ultrasonic. SEM carbon nano image, carbon nano oxide Hummer modification and reflux as well as carbon nano weal reduced with water solvents and DMSO. The carbon showed thin sheet-like shapes and some are clumped and form like pores. The results of the diffractogram showed the presence of crystalline for modified hummer carbon nano oxide, carbon nano oxide reflux, hummer carbon nano oxide modified with water solvent and DMSO and carbon nano oxide reduced reflux with water solvent and DMSO at peak 2θ = 22.3°, 25°, 26°, 24.5°, 21.2° and 23°, 24°. The results of the IR spectrum for nano carbon, hummer modified carbon nano oxide, reflux carbon nano oxide, hummer modified carbon nano oxide modified with water solvent and DMSO and reduced carbon nano oxide reflux with water solvent and DMSO functional group the existence C-O, C=C, –OH, C=O , N-H , C-H, C-N. The highest electrical conductivity showed a value of 2.77 x 10-3 and the lowest conductivity value of 7.23 x 10-5. The energy of the transparent electrode bandgap has a value of 2.2 e.V and the lowest value is 1.5 e.V.
