Abstract

Stunting is another form of body growth failure, one of the body size anomaly caused by aberation of nutrition which the most visible of the symptomp is the body size is so short that it reach -2 SD below WHO standart. Stunting is related with possibelity of illness and cautions death, unoptimal brain growth that cause a slow motoric and mental growth. The purpose of this research is to observe the effect of energy consumption, protein, zinc, calsium on stunting phenomenon of 24-59 months-old of toddler in a Gerunggang Clinic. This Research based on observational analytic, using quantity cross sectional method. There are 2979 toddler that age around 24-59 months old as the object and the samples are 72, using simple random sampling method. The research held in around April-May 2019. Data collection was done using questionnaires, anatropmotri measurement, and 3x recall in 24 hours. The results are shown that there are significant coherent factor between energy consumption (p=0,028) and calsium (p=0,027) on stunting. Others, like protein (p=1,000) and zinc (p=0,728) havent any relation towards stunting.
