Abstract

Palembang consists of of 16 sub-districts, this research limited to 8 subdistricts whlch is purposed to optimize the emergency unit in the hospital which are Alang-Alang Lehar, Bukit Kecil, Gandus, Ilir Barat I, Ilir Barat II, Kertapati, Seberang Utu I and Ilir Timur I Sub-Districts. This optimalization uses 4 covering based models, that includes Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP), Location Set Covering Problem (LSCP), P-Median Problem and P-Center Problem with using Lingo 13.0 software. Calculation results concludes that there are be 5 emergency unit locations that should be built in Alang-Alang Lehar, Gandus, Bir Barat I, Ilir Barat II and Kertapati Sub-Districts.
