Abstract

Game theory is optimal decision making from different competitive situations. This theory is applied to study the interaction of strategies between two or more players used to make it easier to choose the type of smartphone that will be used, because game theory produces optimal strategies that can be chosen by smartphone users. This research uses five players, namely Iphone, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and uses five strategies, namely price, camera, battery, RAM/memory and appearance. Completion of the game uses pure strategies and mixed strategies. Pure strategy is done by searching for minimax and maximal values. If the minimax and maximal values are different, then the game is done with a mixed strategy. As a result of the iPhone game, the strategy is camera, RAM/memory and appearance. Samsung, the strategy is battery and appearance. Oppo strategies are price, RAM/memory and appearance. Vivo's strategies are price and appearance. Xiomi's strategies are price, camera and RAM/memory.
