Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesehatan bank sebelum dan setelah adanya Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) pada Bank Umum Swasta Nasional Devisa di Indonesia. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan publikasi masing-masing Bank Umum Swasta Nasional Devisa di Indonesia tahun 2002-2012. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 7 Bank Umum Swasta Nasional Devisa dengan periode 2002-2012 yang diambil melalui purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varibel tingkat kesehatan bank yang terdiri dari Credit risk yang diproksikan dengan NPL, Interest Rate Risk (IRR), ROA, NIM, dan CAR tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada periode sebelum adanya LPS yaitu 2002-2004 dan periode setelah adanya LPS yaitu 2005-2012. Untuk variabel Liquidiiy Risk hasil pengujiannya menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah adanya Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS)
