Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui reputasi underwriter faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat underpricing pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2006-2010.Variabel-variabel yang diteliti antara lain veputasiunderwriter, umur perusahaan, Price earning ratio, Debt to equity ratio, nilai penawaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%, alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah studi observasi dan studi pustaka dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel sebanyak 73 emiten dari 90 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Price earning ratio, Debt to equity ratio dan nilai penawaran berhasil menujukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat underpricing, sedangkan reputasi underwriter dan umur perusahaan tidak berhasil menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat underpricing.
