Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah pasar modal memberikan reaksi akibat peristiwa Bom Mega Kuningan dan Pengumuman Mundurnya Sri Mulyani sebagai Menteri Keuangan terhadap return saham, serta untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata abnormal return sebelum dan sesudah peristiwa. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah return saham, abnormal return dan ratarata abnormal return. Alat pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah dengan one sample t-test dan Paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasar modal memberikan reaksi disekitar periode peristiwa akibat peristiwa Bom Mega Kuningan dan pengumuman mundurnya Sri Mulyani sebagai Menteri Keuangan. Serta tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata abnormal return sebelum dan sesudah masing-masing peristiwa berarti secara rata-rata tidak adanya reaksi atas peristiwa tersebut.
