Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 pandemic will have an impact on various sectors, one of which is the agricultural sector which can disrupt various farming activities, changes in market demand, crop rotation and farmers feel that agricultural commodity prices have decreased. The availability of labor in the household is a big potential in farming activities as well as a part of income. The objectives of this study are to: 1) Analyze the amount of household labor outpouring of farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and 2) To analyze the amount of household income of farmers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data collection was carried out in December 2020. The method used in this study was a survey method. The sampling method used in the study was a simple randomized method with a total sample size of 30 farmers who carried out rice farming and coffee farming as owners as well as cultivators. The data obtained consisted of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that 1) The labor outpouring of rice and coffee farming which was issued by farmer households during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020) was less than before the Covid-19 pandemic (2019) with a difference of 21 HOK and 2 ) Farmers' household income during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020) was lower than before the Covid-19 pandemic (2019) with a difference of IDR 5.723.819/th due to export restrictions, lower selling prices and the resulting production. decreased.
