Abstract

This study aims to develop pictorial story-based teaching materials on theme 4 of various occupations in grade IV SD Negeri 1 Palembang. As well as knowing the development procedure and the level of validity of teaching materials based on pictorial stories. The type of research used is ADDIE development (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This study validated two expert lecturers and a grade IV teacher and was tested on six grade IV students. The result of the assessment from expert lecturer 1 got a score of 3.86 which was in the very good category. The results of the assessment from expert lecturers 2 got a score of 3.73 which was in the very good category. The results of the assessment of grade IV teachers got a score of 2.93 which was in the good category. The results of the limited test recap of class IV students with six students got a score of 3.81 which was in the very good category. So the average score of product validity is 3.65 with the level of validity of the teaching materials developed in the "Very Good" category.
