Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di Departemen Pekerjaan Umum Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga Palembang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dilaksanakan pada 36 karyawan. Teknik sampling yang dipakai adalah metode sensus dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS 17. Nilai R square menunjukkan sebesar 86,9 % motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, sedangkan sisanya sebesar sisanya 13,1% % (100%- 86,9%) dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan.
