Abstract

The aimed of this research to know role of Pusat Informasi Konseling Remaja (PIK R) at Senior High School number 22 Palembang and to know obstacles factor of Pusat Informasi Konseling Remaja (PIK R) in managed its role. The research method used research kualitatif descriptive. Data was collected through the observation first then interview and documention. Information selection technique by purposive method, where selection was done purposely based on the character has already determined and assigned, based on the aimed of research was informant namely elder member and members of PIK R of Senior Hight School 22 Palembang, whereas supporting informant was counseling guiedance teacher and students have already consulted with PIK R at Senior High School 22 Palembang. With amount of 15 people as informant. Data validity checked technique used triangulasi technique dan triangulasi sources. Analysis data technique used from Miles Huberman dan Saldana approach namely condensation data step, presentation of data step and drawn conclusion. The result of this research showed, there are two roles of PIK R of Senior High School 22 Palembang namely, 1. Providing information service and counseling information service was done to provide information and knowledge that related to PIK R material, regarding of maturity marriage age, 8 family function, TRIAD KRR (seksualitas, HIV dan AIDS serta Napza), life skills (fundamental abilities), sexual orientation and advocacy skills and KIE. 2. The benefit of Counseling helps students of Senior High School 22 Palembang in solving the problems that were occured then obstacles factors of PIK R at Senior High School 22 Palembang in doing their role, namely 1. PIK R Senior High School 22 Palembang is not too well known by students yet, 2. The adaptation process with new administration, 3. Clash in the time of PIK R schedule with others schedule.
