Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh leverage dan rasio aktivitas terhadap profitabilitas pada 12 perusahaan sektor pertanian yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2009-2012. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, Degree Of Operating Leverage , Degree Of Financial Leverage, Degree Of Combined Leverage, Total Aset Turn Over dan Working Capital Turn Over sebagai variabel bebas dan Return On Ecjuity sebagai variabel terikatnya. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisa regresi berganda. Hasil analisis secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa DFL, TAT, dan WCT berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap ROE , DOL dan DCL berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap ROE. Secara simultan variabel DOL,DFL,DCL TAT dan WCT berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positifterhadap Return On Equity. Nilai R. Square sebesar 0,279 yang menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen sebesar 27,9% sedangkan sisanya 72,1% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain. Kata Kunci : Degree OfOperating Leverage (DOL), Degree OfFinancial Leverage (DFL),Degree Of Combined Leverage (DCL) , Total Asset Turn Over (TAT), Working Capital Turn Over (WCT) dan Return On Eguity (ROE).
