Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of changes macro economy to the share demand of the plantations sub sector in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) period 1998-2003. Macro economy conditions are inflation, change rate, interest rate, value rate, and Gross Domestic Bruto (GDB). Basic theory used portefel theory, inflation theory, exchanged rate theory, interest rate theory, and Gross Domestic Bruto (GDB). The whole theory is conectic each other, beside that also use Science opinion. The research use secondary data was got from Jakarta Stock Exchange publications, Department Statistic Center, Indonesian Bank and other installations. These data use pool time series method and analysis with econometrics equipment and use multiple linier regression model. Base on analysis data, the result of this research was price varia b le and Gross Domestic Bruto are significant influence demand of share plantations subsector. But, interest rate, inflation, and exchange rate are not significant influence demand of share plantations subsector.
