Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang membahas tentang fungsi pengawasan dan produktivitas kerja karyawan pemanen kelapa sawit di kebun Balai Penelitian Sembawa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah fungsi pengawasan itu berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas keija. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dihubungkan dengan hasil analisis kuantitatif dari analisis regresi linier sederhana maka terlihat hubungan antarvariabel yang diuji. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa fungsi pengawasan memiliki hubungan terhadap produktivitas keija sebesar 0,543 atau 54,3% yang berarti memiliki hubungan yang kuat. Selanjutnya, untuk kuatnya pengaruh dari pengawasan terhadap produktivitas keija dapat dilihat dari nilai R square — 0,295 yang berarti pengawasan 29,5% dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas keija, dan 70,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.
