Abstract

This research aim to analyze the conduct of metal cast industry in Palembang City in order to set the price which is give some profit to producers. Analyze technique used were descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyzing technique. The result of this research indicates that strategy of metal cast industry producers in Palembang City done to set up the price by marked up the price of their raw material which is used to production. On the average, the mark up is between 1,65 percent to 5,02 percent. It shows that the metal cast industry only mark up the price is quite low, that is the reason the product price is not high.
