Abstract

This study aims to determine Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) more specifik values in badrock for Rejang Lebong and Lubuk Linggau regions. PGA analysis used the Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA) method. The study used historical earthquake data from the International Seismological Center (ISC) from 1900 – 2019. The USGS PSHA 2007 Software used to produced a MAP of PGA values for return periods of 500 years 10% probability of exceedance within 50 years age of the building. Probabilistic analysis for Rejang Lebong region largest results PGA bedrock value in Bermani Ulu Raya (0.62 g – 0.85 g) and Curup Selatan (0.66 g – 0.85 g) while lowest PGA value in Kota Padang (0.24 g – 0.32 g) and Sindang Beliti Ilir ( 0.24 g – 0.32 g). For The Lubuk Linggau region obtained the largest PGA bedrock in Lubuk Linggau Barat Satu (0.27 g – 0.3 g) while the lowest PGA value in Lubuk Linggau Selatan dua (0.24 g – 0.26 g). Rejang Lebong and Lubuk Linggau dominated by Sesar earthquake especially Sesar Musi that identificated from PGA value 0.68 g and overall the spread of PGA values form a trace trajectory of the fault field (rupture area).
