Abstract

Skripsi ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan minyak goreng di Kota Palembang. Adapun faktor-faktor tersebut adalah harga minyak goreng, pendapatan, jumlah anggota keluarga, jenis minyak goreng, dan harga margarin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa harga minyak goreng. pendapatan, dan harga margarin tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Tidak signifikannya harga minyak goreng disebabkan karena bagi sebagian masyarakat ada yang mengkonsumsi minyak goreng berdasarkan faktor kesehatan. Pendapatan tidak signifikan karena minyak goreng adalah salah satu kebutuhan pokok yang harus tetap dipenuhi, dan harga margarin tidak signifikan karena margarin belum mampu menggantikan minyak goreng secara utuh bahkan cenderung bersifat netral. Sementara jumlah anggota keluarga dan jenis minyak goreng berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan minyak goreng.
