Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan kausalitas antara investasi pemerintah dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Palembang selama periode 1994-2005. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Dengan menggunakan Uji Kausalitas Granger yang diformulasikan dalam metode regresi sederhana, hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kausalitas dua arah antara investasi pemerintah dan pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam periode penelitian. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil dua regresi di mana nilai koefisien tidak sama dengan nol (bj 4 0 dan dj 4 0) dan nilai F statistik dari dua regresi yang lebih besar dari F tabel (20,799 > 6,26 dan 10,788 >6,26).
