Abstract
Sintesis dan karakterisasi serat PES dan Graphene telah berhasil dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ekperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Material yang digunakan adalah polyethersulfone (PES), Graphene dan dimetilformamida (DMF). Larutan disiapkan dengan melarutkan PES dengan konsentrasi 10% (w/w) (PPG1), 15% (w/w) (PPG2), 20% (w/w) (PPG3) menggunakan DMF lalu ditambahkan PAN sebanyak 0,5gr (b/b) dan Graphen e sebanyak 0,48gr (b/b). Karakterisasi membran berserat meliputi morfologi, pemodelan dan simulasi pengujian aerosol. Hasil morfologi menunjukan variasi larutan menunjukan serat manik-manik pada PPG1 dan serat halus pada PPG2 dan PPG3. Pemodelan serat random yang sesuai dengan diameter serat hasil morfologi. Hasil simulasi menunjukan variasi ketebalan serat dan variasi diameter serat mempengaruhi nilai effisiensi dan penurunan tekanan dari membran.
