Abstract
Indonesia failed to achieve universal health coverage on 2019 with JKN membership only 82% of the government's target 95%. This failure made the government incessant to increase development in the health sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of JKN ownership in Indonesia and the most influential factors in JKN ownership. This research is an analytical study using quantitative research methods with cross sectional design using secondary data, namely Socio Economic Survey data of 2019. This data will analyze until multivariate analysis and will used chi-square and multiple logistic regression test. The results of bivariate analysis show that JKN ownership in Indonesia is influenced by age, gender, education, marital status, area of residence and health complaints with p-value 0.0001 < alpha 0.05. However, JKN ownership is not influenced by occupation (pvalue = 0.059 > alpha 0.05). It is statistically proven that most influences variabel of JKN ownership in Indonesia is health complaints. In order to support government programs in the health sector and achieve universal health coverage, all Indonesians are required to have JKN by registering through mobile JKN or directly visiting BPJS Kesehatan to get health services when its needed. It is hoped that health agencies will increase the frequency of JKN socialization with the main target being students and someone who is currently married in urban areas.
