Abstract
The purpose of this research is to increase in studying result of the students in subtheme “preserving traditional games and sports” at Third Grade in 135 Elementary School Palembang by using snake and ladder game props.The research used is Classroom Action Research. It is aconsist of four stages. They are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. From the result of the research showed that a value of studying result and the activeness of the students has increased. It can be look at the learning completeness of the students in cycle I and cycle II. In the cycle I, the learning completeness of the students reached an evarage of 64,28 dan the result of observation in the activeness value of the students reached an evarege of 62,27 with an active category. In the cycle II, the learning completeness of students increased to reach an everage of 85,71 and also the result of the observation in the activenss value of the students increased to reach an average of 81,69 with very active category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that snake and ladder game props can be increase the studying result of the students in sub-theme “preserving traditional games and sports” in the third grade in 135 Elementary School Palembang.
