Abstract

This study aims to identify the misuse of direct funds from community savings and loan groups (SPP) in Ulak Paceh Jaya Village, Lawang Wetan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. There are four informants in this study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and document techniques. Research also through inspection techniques and data validity. Data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done previously, it can be concluded that there are several factors causing the misuse of direct aid funds provided to the community from savings and loan groups, namely economic factors, psychological factors and cultural factors. Then there are efforts made by women's savings and loan groups to tackle the misuse of funds by the community which consists of processes, methods and deeds.
