Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out chemical property’s quality in the combination of hyacinth compost and goat manure with the addition of rumen liquid MOL and to obtain recommendation for the usage of hyacinth compost and goat manure’s combination with the best rumen liquid MOL as an addition. The materials used in this study were water hyacinth, goat drum fertilizer from experimental cage farm, Sriwijaya University and rumen liquid MOL from Gandus Palembang Slaughterhouse. This study was conducted at the Compost House, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized factorial design (RALF) with 5 levels of treatment with 2 factors. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 15 experimental units in 1 factor so 30 experimental units were needed in order to obtain 2 factors. The observed parameters in this study were the analysis of heavy metals analysis, C-organic, Nitrogen total, C/N ratio, pH, P-available, and K-available. Data were processed statistically using Annova (analysis of variance). Then proceed with the Duncan test at 5% level. All compost parameters observed have fulfilled SNI 19-7030-2004 and the Decree of The Ministry of Agriculture in 2019. The level of 2% and 4% rumen liquid MOL dosage toward the compost combination from water hyacinth and goat manure resulted in compost pH ranges from 7.27 to 8.89, C-Organic compost ranges from 5.16% to 11.24%, Nitrogen Total compost ranges from 0.32% to 1.451%, C/N ratio of compost ranges from 7.06% to 17.6%, P compost ranges from 31.05 to 121.8 ppm, K compost ranges from 0.45 to 1.34 ppm and heavy metals Pb ranges 0.07 to 14.14 ppm.
