Abstract

In this research, the model of Demand Robust Counterpart Open Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem With Time Windows And Deadline (DRC-OCVRPtw,d) is used to find the best distances and the faster times that vehicle needs on the completion of the garbage delivery problem in Seberang Ulu II Sub-District. This research aims to simplify the DRC-OCVRPtw,d model with the more simple and efficient results using the processing and preprocessing techniques. The probing technique was employed to prevent invalid results by adding an obstacle to the problem. The preprocessing technique is done to strengthen the limits of the obstacle variables which is then eliminate the excess obstacles and repair the variables. The result of this research shows that in Seberang Ulu II Sub-District before the probing and preprocessing techniques Working Area (WA) 1 and WA 3 have a higher value of objective functions and the iterations than afterward, whereas the value of the number of constraints, and the number of variables were less after the probing and preprocessing techniques were presented. WA 2 value of objective functions before the probing and preprocessing techniques worth as much as ever, whereas the value of the number of constraints, the number of variables and the iterations were less after the probing and preprocessing techniques were presented. WA 4 value of objective functions, the number of constraints, and the number of variables were less after the probing and preprocessing techniques was presented, whereas the iterations worth as much as ever. WA 5 value of objective functions worth as much as ever, whereas the value of the number of constraints, the number of variables and the iterations were less after the probing and preprocessing techniques were presented.
