Abstract

The aim of this research is: (1) measuring the performance of UPPB Sumber Rejeki in accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture Regulation no.38 0f 2008 concerning “Guidelines for Processing and Marketing of Rubber Processing Materials”, (2) analyze the factors that influence the level of active participation of farmers in UPPB Sumber Rejeki, (3) Analyze the factors that affect the income received by member farmers of UPPB Sumber Rejeki. This research was conducted at UPPB Sumber Rejeki in December 2020. The location of this research was chosen deliberately with the consideration that the village of Cinta Damai has a community as rubber farmers and follow the UPPB. The research method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling method used was the simple random sampling method, which was obtained 32 samples. The data processing method used is to use a likert scale to see the performance of UPPB Sumber Rejeki and multiple linear regression to see the factors that affect participation and income. The results showed that the performance of UPPB Sumber Rejeki high criteria with an average score of 47,25. This is because there are several functions that the UPPB Sumber Rejeki has not yet carried out such as the absence of devolpment of tapping skills, production facilities, transportation and provivion of capital. In addition the results of multiple linear regression indicate that the factors that influence the activeness of farmer participation in UPPB Sumber Rejeki are the performance of the UPPB management, while the factors of farm income, age and education have no significant effect. And the multiple linear regression results show that the factors that influence the income received by the UPPB member farmers are land area, while the farming experience factors, number of family members, plant age, and participation have no significant effect.
