Abstract

Latar Belakang: Analisis foto digital merupakan alternatif metode pengukuran dimensi vertikal oklusi (DVO) dalam proses pembuatan gigi tiruan dengan bantuan software berbasis bitmap dan vektor. Software bitmap versi 2020 memiliki kelebihan seperti penyimpanan data secara online, dan fitur upsampling untuk meningkatkan kualitas gambar. Software vektor versi 2020 juga memiliki kelebihan fitur upsampling. Pengukuran DVO dengan analisis software versi terakhir ini, diharapkan mendapat hasil yang akurat dan mendekati dengan pengukuran langsung. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pengukuran DVO menggunakan analisis beberapa software foto digital dengan pengukuran secara langsung (metode Willis). Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Total sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Sriwijaya yang didapatkan dari peneliti sebelumnya, terbagi 5 kelompok; kelompok 1 metode Willis, kelompok 2 software bitmap versi 2012, kelompok 3 vektor versi 2012, kelompok 4 bitmap versi 2020, kelompok 5 vektor versi 2020. DVO diukur dari subnasion ke menton saat beroklusi menggunakan metode Willis dan analisis beberapa software foto digital. Data diuji dengan menggunakan uji one-way ANOVA. Hasil: Hasil uji one-way ANOVA menunjukkan pengukuran nilai DVO dengan metode langsung dan analisis foto digital tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik (p=1,000). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil pengukuran nilai DVO antara metode Willis dan analisis beberapa software foto digital.
