Abstract

PT. Triaryani plans to increase the production target in 2021 to 1 million tons. It is necessary to plan for the new design and mining scheduling to achieve that. This study aims to plan mining phases which include the capabilities and requirements of digging and loading equipment, and mining scheduling plans. The research was done by direct field observation, collecting secondary data, and processing the data then produced mining phases design. Mining scheduling begins with reserves calculation in Minescape 5.7 software which becomes the basis for creating a pivot table in Microsoft Excel. Next, making manual scheduling by selecting mining blocks with trial and error method and evaluating on the Spry 5.0 software obtains coal production with a stripping ratio value which has been determined (close to one). The output of Spry 5.0 in the form of an upright contour bench will become the basis for making pit and disposal designs regarding to the geotechnical recommendations. Overburden stripping and coal getting activities are using 2 mining equipment fleets, each consisting of 1 unit of Caterpillar 330 excavator and 4 units of Hino 500 FM 260 dump trucks. The production targets are respectively for January 88,392 BCM and 86,182 tons, February 82,920 BCM and 80,487 tons, March 86,820 BCM and 84,650 tons. The tools ability is in January 90,330 BCM and 88,950 tons, February 83,575 BCM and 83,575 tons, March 88,031 BCM and 88,031 tons. It can be concluded that the equipment could support production targets and become company reference.
