Abstract
The main objective of this research is to find out how the influence of advertising and sales promotion on purchasing decisions for clothing products at Matahari Palembang Square Extension. The sample of this research is respondents who come from consumers of Matahari Palembang Square Extension. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling in the form of incidental sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study simultaneously show that the advertising and sales promotion variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. This research is useful for companies as a basis for thinking in making policies and making decisions on advertising strategies, sales promotions, and purchasing decisions in increasing sales volume.
