Abstract

Control of production, inventory and distribution are important factors in trading activities. In trading activities, it is necessary to procure supplies of goods / products, procurement of goods from a company or trading business related to suppliers. In some cases, there are several suppliers that the company can choose from, while in this study, the issue of supplier selection related to Medan oranges fruit in one of the PB.Wibowo fruit trading businesses in Jakabaring, South Sumatra has been discussed. This study aims to obtain the best supplier of Medan citrus fruit by considering factors including price, quality and on time delivery. There is uncertainty of parameters and variables so that the fuzzy approach can be applied. This study applies the MINMAX Multi-Choice Goal Programming (MCGP) model. To complete the MCGP model, the LINGO 18 application was used. There were four suppliers assessed, namely Jaya, Mako, Baros, and Gina. The assessment of the best supplier is seen from the largest number of order quantities, so based on the results of the research, it was found that the best supplier in a row was Gina Supplier with an order quantity of 10000, then Mako Supplier with an order quantity of 7000, with a maximum order of 17000 for one total order.
