Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between trust with interpersonal conflict on students who follow LDF X at Sriwijaya University. The hypothesis of the study is that there is relationship between trust with interpersonal conflict on students who follow LDF X at Sriwijaya University. The population of this study was 289 Sriwijaya University’s students who attendes LDF X in periode 2018-2019 while there were 60 people as the participant for the try out. This study was conducted with simple random sampling technique. Study measurement instruments used interpersonal conflict scale based on the aspect in interpersonal conflict stated by Wilmot and Hocker (2007), and the scale in trust referring to aspect of trust by Johnson and Johnson (2007). This study used Spearman Rank correlation to analyze the data. The result shows thet there is significant relationship between trust with interpersonal conflict as proven by p-value = 0,000 (p< 0,05) and r= -0,716. Therefore, the proposed hypothesis is acceptable.
