Abstract

The aim of the study is determining whether there is a role of time management toward academic stress in compiling theses for final year students. This study hypothesizes that there is role of time management toward academic stress. Thi study used 150 final year students batch 2016 and used 50 students as trial participants. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The study measurements are time management scale that refer to Olejnic and Holschuh (2007) symptoms and academic stress scale that refer to Macan (1994) aspects, data analysis used simple regression. The result of simple regression shows R Square = 0,102, F = 16,844 and p = 0,000(p<0,05). This means that time management has role toward academic stress. Thus, the hypothesis could be accepted and time management contibution toward academic stress is 10,2%.
