Abstract

This research purpose to knowing effect minimum wage and GRDP to the open unemployment rate in Sumatera Selatan Province. The used data is secondary data about minimum wage, GRDP and open unemployment rate 2000 until 2019 this year from Cental Bureau of Statistics of South Sumatera Province. This research in analysis technique is multiplier linear regression. The result of research showed that minimum wage and GDRP influenced to the open unemployment rate in South Sumatera Province. Minimum wage variable negative effect and significant to the open unemployment rate. While GDRP variabel negative effect but not significant to the open unemployment rate.
