Abstract

The Bungin River has two River flow is Bungin River left and Bungin River Right. Bungin River Right is included in the area of Sungsang II Village and Bungin River left in the Sungsang IV Village area. Inside the Bungin River there are 56 oil palm plantations. Potential to drain ammonia and nitrate waste into Sungai Bungin which is a source of •pollutants for the waters. Where COD indirectly indicates the amount of organic matter contained in the waters. The aims of this research was to analyze the concentrations of COD, ammonia and nitrate in the Bli.ttgifi Estuary. Th1s researeh was conducted in May 2018 by takit1g 6 research station using the purposive sampling method. The results showed that COD concentrations ranged 47,6-95 mg/L, ammonia 1,92-2,66 mg/L and nitrate 6 ,92-21,64 mg/L. The current velocity ranged 0,04-0,18 mis, the temperature 30,2-33,5 •c, the salinity 5,3-12,6 %0 and the dissolved oxygen 3,9-5,6 m g/L.
