Abstract
This study is focused on the application of RFID systems that are used on the security of house doors. The RFID system used is based on Arduino UNO and integrated with the RFID Mifare RC-522 reader. The goal is to make a practical door safety device that can improve comfort and safety in opening the door of the house, without having to use various keys that might be very disturbing. The results showed that when the RFID tag was brought closer to the RFID reader, the door opened. Then, when the RFID tag used is not appropriate, the buzzer will sound. From the results of the study also found that the reading distance of each RFID tag by the RFID reader is 4 cm. In addition, objects or barrier media between RFID tags and RFID readers also determine the success of reading data (in this case it is detected or not detected).
