Abstract

Human rights violations have become one of the issues that are often encountered in the international arena, these violations are not only committed by individuals or individuals, but can be carried out by the State, which in fact is mandated to protect the rights of every citizen, but instead becomes the perpetrator of human rights violations. itself, as well as the Apartheid Politics in South Africa which clearly segregates the racial segregation of its citizens in receiving the rights given by the country, such as economic distribution, education and in its social sphere, every citizen of the country is divided by type of race, ethnicity or color. This research aims to explain how the process of resolving cases of human rights violations in the Apartheid Political case in South Africa, in this study uses the approach to solving cases of human rights violations in the non-judicial settlement pathway in other words without using a jurisdictional process, starting with the formation of the Commission. Truth and Reconciliation, and the method used in this study is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in an effort to resolve the Apartheid Political case starts from (1) the fact-finding process related to Apartheid , (2) Truth and Justice Disclosure, (3) the Reconciliation and Rehabilitation Process.
