Abstract

This study is titled ”Communication Strategy of Task Force to Accelerate Handling of COVID-19 in Lubuklinggau City in Dissemination of Information About Health Protocols durfng the COVID-19 Pandemic”. The purpose of this research is to determine the communication strategy used by the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in Lubuklinggau City in disseminating information about health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses the theory of communication strategy from Abidin. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study showed that the communication strategy fulfilled six elements in accordance with the theory, namely goal setting, goal setting, composing messages, instruments and activities, resources and timescales and evaluations.
