Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh kinerja beberapa perusahaan go public di Indonesia tahun 2003 hingga tahun 2008 dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari objek penelitian PT Bumi Resources,Tbk dan PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam,Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif dan tabulasi silang. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antar variabel, yaitu variabel laba bersih perusahaan yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan Produk Domestik Bruto yang kemudian memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dilihat dari peningkatan volume produksi dan penjualan yang signifikan serta tingkat efisiensi operasional yang semakin baik sehingga mendorong tingginya investasi, selain itu juga adanya kontribusi positif dari trend penurunan suku bunga domestik yang mengakibatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi ikut membaik.
