Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of foreign reserves as independent variable on the money supply as the Dependent Variabel in Indonesia for period 1986-2008. The data was used in this reaserch is time series data, that was secondary data which source from monetary indicator, Economy Statistis Monetary Indonesia and Indonesia Stalistic Center and kind of literature beside Journal, article and the result of in vestigation before, that have related on this case. To analyze this reaserch use the descriptive and quantitative technic analyze. The quantitative technic analyze using lag (Ln) regression model with Autoregresive method. The result show that the effect of foreign reserves have positive and significant relationsip to money supply. R squares is 0,99 (85,4%) money supply is influenced by foreign reserves. For 1% is influenced by another factors outside model
